reciteword

reciteword is education software developed using GTK 2 to help people study English and recite English words. It has a very beautiful interface to make reciting words an interesing thing. It can change skins, and comes with many sound events, including over 400 books for you to choose. It also includes a dictionary, which can also run separately.

Release Notes: This is another maintenance version. A 64-bit compilation problem was fixed. The books were updated. The Windows installer was improved.

Release Notes: Some usability improvements were made. Ctrl-BackSpace can clear the entry. The StartupNotify feature of GNOME 2.2 is now used. The install path was changed. The Windows port has become stable, and now includes an installer.

Release Notes: This version runs properly under Windows, but is not yet stable. The phonetic display label was rewritten and is now much faster when moving in the GtkFixed widget. Many small changes were made.

Release Notes: A new skin, the preferences window (including the skins and font settings), and a FreeBSD 4.7 port.
