Recital Terminal Developer is an integrated development environment consisting of a powerful SQL 92 RDBMS and Fourth Generation Language for rapidly developing and deploying character based applications on Linux and Unix platforms. It includes the capability of migrating dBASE, FoxBase, FoxPro, and Clipper applications to Linux/Unix.

    Release Notes: New features include compliance to ANSI SQL syntax, an ODBC compatible C API for C/C++ embedded non-server database access and dynamically loadable C function and class libraries, CHECK and ERROR database events, MySQL compatibility, Very Large Database support, joins across multiple databases, nested transactions, DES3 encryption, 32-character field names, 256 columns, NULL, DateTime, and Currency data types, nested SQL SELECT statements, SQL UNIONs, support for TRY/CATCH/THROW...FINALLY and ASSERT, and auto-increment fields. XML support was enhanced.
