R2CORBA is the reference implementation for the official OMG Ruby CORBA Language Mapping (RCLM). It implements the CORBA mapping both for MRI (1.8, 1.9, and 2.0 series) and JRuby.

    Release Notes: Replacement of the 'old' setup.rb based build system with a Rake based build system. Support for distribution/installation of R2CORBA as a Ruby Gem. A new r2corba tool script that currently provides support for running included regression tests after gem installation. Fixes for OSPortal issues.

      Release Notes: The most important changes in this release are support for MRI 2.0.0, support for Windows 64-bit (MRI 2.0.0 only), validation with JacORB 3.2, JRuby 1.7.3, TAO 2.1.8, and bugfixes.

        Release Notes: Ruby 1.9.3 support. JRuby 1.7.0 support. All fixes for the OSPortal issues. Improved multi-threading support. The latest version of the RIDL frontend (see RIDL project), which includes full IDL3 support. Compatible with the latest releases of TAO (2.1.6), MRI Ruby 1.8.7 (p371), MRI Ruby 1.9.3 (p286), JRuby (1.7.0), and JacORB (3.1).

          Release Notes: This release adds minor bugfixes.

            Release Notes: This release adds support for MRI 1.9.2, multithreading in all R2CORBA variants, and an Interoperable Naming Service (INS) that is fully compliant with the OMG Naming Service spec v1.3.
