Release Notes: More conversions for changing from Component Y'CbCr 10-bit 4:4:4 to 16 bit YUV were added. A new divx_use_deblocking parameter causes deblocking to be used for MPEG-4 decoding. Vorbis support was upgraded to 1.0, and DV was reimplemented. libmjpeg now crashes less often, and version information queries were added. This release also features a libdv upgrade and a more reliable raw1394 decoder.
Release Notes: New codecs (Component Y'CbCr 8-bit 4:4:4, Component Y'CbCrA 8-bit 4:4:4:4, Component'CbCr 10-bit 4:4:4, OpenDivx, and Vorbis), a parameter setting mechanism, DV encoding (only for black and white using the IA-32 assembly language), and faster loading of large movies (but preload is no longer a user-configurable option).
