Quasar Accounting

Quasar is a business accounting application. From its easy to install scripts to its online help, Quasar was developed with the ordinary user in mind. You can run it on a single computer or on a network. define a single company or multiple companies as your requirements dictate, purchase products, maintain inventory, sell goods and services, manage payables and receivables, print cheques, and review your financial statements.     Release Notes: This release fixes some bugs that had slowed down SQL operations, makes some screens faster, and adds customer invoice XML import.

      Release Notes: Fixes for AMD-64 compilation, and easier compiling on Debian systems. Some new reports and fixes to date and number handling. An item search function in screens that needed it, and sequence numbers in a scroll view so that it fits on the screen. Many other small improvements and fixes.

        Release Notes: This release has been tested with character sets such as Norwegian, Japanese, and Inuktitut, and is using the ICU library from IBM, so its I18N abilities are greatly expanded. The database drivers have been redesigned to allow for easier setup and more abilities, and the database connection has been moved to the client to make the client installation much easier. New reports have been added, and the reporting engine has some new features.

          Release Notes: This release is licensed under the GPL. It has enhanced reports, works with PostgreSQL, has security control by function, and more.

            Release Notes: This release adds sending email to customer and vendors, and adds a company logo image to the customer invoice. A removed dependency on libcrypt.so that was causing problems for some users has been removed.
