Quamachi

Quamachi is a Hamachi GUI for Linux. Hamachi is a zero-configuration VPN service. It provides a mature GUI, browsing of remote Samba file shares, remote control via SSH and VNC, and flexible choices of optional dependencies.

    Release Notes: This release colorizes the main tree widget to increase overall clarity, adds the ability to add, modify, or remove peer aliases, improves the handling and notifications of slow logins, adds the ability to display IP v6 addresses in the GUI, displays a warning icon next to incompatible peers, adds the ability to set the IP mode via the "User" menu, displays Peer Aliases instead of their Client IDs, adds extra network information (like the capacity and owner), logs off Hamachi properly when quitting the application, and handles the session restoring feature at the DE level.

      Release Notes: Network and peer properties can now be viewed. External options can be configured via the GUI. Handles cases where user can't control the daemon. Error messages force the main dialog to be visible. The Makefile is forced to build in serial mode. The Makefile checks directory/file permissions were set. The order of execution for the startup code has changed. The way messages are handled and printed has improved. Most icons have been downsized to 16x16 to reduce bloat. Support for the old KDE v3 environment has been removed. Several minor changes have been made to the code structure.

        Release Notes: Basic support for the new Hamachi 2 was introduced. The dialog box sizes are now fully adjustable. Dialog widgets are now auto-spaced for clarity. The connection/application icons were changed and resized. Improvements were made to the Makefile and service script. The service starting thread was split from the later ones. Licensing rules and installation instructions were included. All distribution-specific build scripts were deprecated. Several minor changes were made to the code structure.

          Release Notes: The Help menu now has a link to the Autopackage website. Error messages are silenced if the Main window isn't visible. The TunCfg? binary is now searched for using multiple methods. Python processes now use the new 'subprocess' module. Several minor changes were made to the code structure.

            Release Notes: Options files were added to choose preferred external applications. The option to prefer sudo is now available via the "Settings" dialog. The nickname of the local user is now displayed. An autopackage script is now available for all distributions. Session restore reloads Quamachi when starting Xfce. Documentation is now available in HTML. Icons are borrowed from the Oxygen theme when possible. Menu entries were added for "Verbose" and "Review" for debugging. Verbose mode is now more consistently implemented.
