Any chance you'd change the name to LaTeXmaker or something, rather than further confusing LaTeX with TeX?

Relationship to kile ?
Pascal was well known for being the initial
developer of kile, which does roughly the same
job. What is the reason for this new app?

Can't compile texmaker
I just tried to compile texmaker.
The script calls for libqt-mt.so.3 . I have just
down loaded and compiled QT 3.2 linux free edition.
That package doesn't have that library.
What's the fix.
