Release Notes: The syntax highlighting for the graphics environments (asymptote, tikz, and ps tricks) has been improved and more shortcuts can be modified. A critical bug and some others minor bugs have been fixed.

Release Notes: The speed of the syntax highlighting and the structure checking has been improved, and a parameter has been added to allow the synchronization with the sumatra PDF viewer. Some bugs have also been fixed.

Release Notes: Block selection support has been added to the editor. Users can now search a piece of text recursively in all the LaTeX files included in a folder. All the colors of the syntax highlighting can now be modified and the settings file can now be saved, restored. or deleted.

Release Notes: A document can now be opened (in read-only mode) beside the editor to make easy copy and paste operations between files. The "tabular" wizard has been improved and the "R Sweave" command has been added to the predefined commands. Some minor bugs have also been fixed.

Any chance you'd change the name to LaTeXmaker or something, rather than further confusing LaTeX with TeX?
Relationship to kile ?
Pascal was well known for being the initial
developer of kile, which does roughly the same
job. What is the reason for this new app?

Can't compile texmaker
I just tried to compile texmaker.
The script calls for libqt-mt.so.3 . I have just
down loaded and compiled QT 3.2 linux free edition.
That package doesn't have that library.
What's the fix.
