Qtella

Qtella is a client for the Gnet with many useful features. It is written in C++, uses the Qt libraries, and is available for Linux. Qtella's advantages over other clients include the fact that it is very fast (since it uses C++ instead of Java), it available for multiple platforms (since it uses Qt), and it is not spyware.

Release Notes: A "Download to" entry was added to the download contextual menu. Style settings are now saved on exit. A progress bar was added for uploads. The option to sort the search results in a case-insensitive manner was added. Search results which already exist in shared directories are now hidden. Specified hosts may now be blocked. The selection mode of the upload list was changed to the extended mode. The correct port for incoming connections is now sent. Fixes were made for a FreeBSD compilation error, a wrong range calculation, the progress calculation for interrupted downloads, and a bug which caused 100% CPU usage when an existing file aborts.

Nice, snappy, user-friendly app
Kudos to the qtella developers for this fine app. I especially like the little coloured ball that's next to the files you're downloading in the browse window that changes colour depending on its download status.
Also very configurable and easy to use, and much faster than the Java counterparts.
