Release Notes: A (mini) Web browser was integrated, based on QtWebKit with HTTP proxy support and a simple download manager. A MAWS lookup feature was added as an additional game detail tab. Free reordering and (de)activation of all available game/machine details was added. Qt 4.5.0+ is required now (and Qt 4.5.1 is recommended). The Windows executable (qmc2-emulator.exe) now include the respective application icon to make it look nicer in the Explorer. A general layout face lift was done. The option dialog now uses scrollable content. A few bugs were fixed.

Release Notes: The most important highlights in this release include a major overhaul of the software list support, support for Emulator embedding on Windows, and a change to the MESS device configuration to offer available device instances based on the slot options specified. A semi-transparent overlay widget was added to the YouTube video player. Available driver information can be looked up in a MESS wiki (MESS targets only). Zip support was added for software snapshots.

Release Notes: This release comes with a fairly high number of new features, improvements, and bugfixes. The most important changes this time include many useful MESS-related improvements, an updated template format, and variant launching is now also supported on Windows. QMC2 can now also be built using the MinGW (GCC) compiler on Windows; the user can now decide if ROM status icons are to be shown or not in any of the game/machine list views. A number of tool functions are added. A built-in YouTube video player for game/machine attached video streams is added.

Release Notes: The major focus of this version is clean support for Qt 4.7. The most important changes include major improvements for the emulator embedder to cleanly work with Qt 4.7 and to fix existing/known bugs with regard to auto-maximization, emulator focus, and mixed/concurrent joystick control, support for XML data that contains Unicode characters, ROMAlyzer fixes (interpret verifications through chdman as file integrity checks only), and improvements and support for additional/new XML data.

Release Notes: This version comes with a great number of major fixes and improvements. Generic support was added for driving a ROM tool for any external processing based on the game/machine ID or its title. Newer XML data formats are now supported when retrieving game/machine details. Experimental support for Qt 4.7 was provided, though one minor embedder-related issue remains. On X11 platforms, the embedder now handles multiple emulators correctly when they are running the same game/machine.

Release Notes: There is an enhanced emulator configuration template format to allow for OS-specific handling of certain options and attributes. The ini importer now cleanly handles white space in string values. The built-in MP3 player received another set of improvements and fixes. QMC2 now better supports Qt 4.6 environments, and major efforts have been made to cleanly support Mac OS X (however, there’s a Qt/Phonon bug on that platform that causes a crash on exit). Emulator configuration templates are in sync with MAME 0.139 and MESS 0.138.
