Release Notes: Many subtle bugs were fixed, but the main focus of this release is that Qt4 migration was completed. The "firewire" audio backend driver option is included.
Release Notes: ALSA sequencer client/port name changes are now properly detected. An OSS device selection menu is now available. Transport buttons (rewind, backward, and forward) are now on the main control window. Duplication of patchbay socket items has been added. A delayed window positioning option is available. MacOS X build support is now a reality, along with CoreAudio device selection.
Release Notes: JACK/ALSA client and port name renaming (aliasing) is now an optional feature for the connections window. Tooltips are now also featured on connections, status, and patch bay windows. A new actual hardware device selection menu is featured in the setup dialog. A rare connection port item removal/disconnection dangling pointer bug has been fixed.
Release Notes: A system tray icon is now featured for KDE and GNOME2 desktops. The maximum number of supported JACK ports has been added to the server setup. Minor fixes and changes have been made.
Release Notes: The ALSA sequencer subscription patchbay is now featured, complementing the current JACK Audio service with a MIDI application connection graph on the same frontend. The current service preset name is now shown on main window title. New button and form icons have been added. An immediate server startup option has been made persistent and thus remembered across sessions. A stdout/stderr capture setup option has been added.
Release Notes: This release adds a redesigned main application window, big time display options, and a seamless client-only mode of operation. The messages window font is now configurable. A preliminary patchbay persistence feature is under way. A patchbay definition editor is already included, following an alternative socket-plug patchbay model that aliases and is a direct map to the client-port connections model. Post-startup scripting and immediate server startup commandline options are now available.
Release Notes: The patch bay user interface code was rewritten and now featured drag-and-drop, right-click context menus, new port ordering that is more numerical-friendly, and accounting for sub-numbering port names. A Reset XRUN statistics button was added and the reset time is recorded in the statistics. Output latency is now calculated and shown on settings. A new disconnect all ports command option was added, and a warning confirmation message is displayed when quitting while JACK is running (preventing accidental Esc key presses).
Release Notes: A visual patchbay for jack port connections is now integrated, much like qjackconnect.
