Release Notes: This release adds two more virtual directories, one for all songs which have been played at least once and another one which only displays songs matching a given search string. Song lyrics can be displayed now. A bug in the tag filtering code has been fixed.
Release Notes: An AudioScrobbler plugin and plugins for displaying the currently playing song in the xterm title bar as well as using the xosd program are now included. It is now possible to display not only the currently selected song in the item info window, but alternatively the song currently being played. The network functionality has been restored. Various bugs have been fixed.

Release Notes: With this release a new database layout is used, which allows merging of all albums with the same name in the albums lists. Passing arbitrary options to the ao library is now possible. A race condition of the database rebuild thread was fixed.
Release Notes: This release adds a message log window to PyTone. The user can now change the size of the audio buffer used by the ALSA driver. When stopping the player, the currently playing song is marked as unplayed again. A couple of bugs have been fixed, and some files which were missing in the previous distribution are now included.

An endian issue on the PowerPC platform and the reencoding of Unicode strings in Ogg Vorbis tags were fixed. PyTone is now more verbose when encountering errors during startup. When updating the song database, songs which are no longer accessible are deleted automatically.
Release Notes: This release fixes a crash occurring during first-time startup. Support for re-reading the ID3 information of the songs has been added. There is now an Italian translation of the user interface.
Release Notes: This release allows the user to set the database cache size when using Python 2.3 and above. The ID3 parsing module was updated. A toggle pause function was added to the command-line control program. A couple of bugs have been fixed.
