    Release Notes: Wrappers for some layoutengine.cpp internal flags were removed, and wrappers were added for ULocaleData functions, uscript functions, and UScriptCode enum. Generalized FreeBSD setup.py support was added.

            Release Notes: This version is a mostly-complete wrapper around C++ ICU 4.4. Older versions of ICU are also supported. Support was added for any missing classes such as UnicodeSet, RegexPattern and RegexMatcher, SelectFormat, TimeUnitFormat, PluralRules and PluralFormat, DateInterval and DateIntervalFormat, CurrencyPluralInfo, SearchIterator, and StringSearch.

              Release Notes: This version includes a few bugfixes and adds support for Solaris, Transliterators, and the latest ICU release.

                Release Notes: Aside from bugfixes, this release is supported with ICU 3.8 as well as ICU 3.6, can be built on 64-bit processors, and is now distributed as a Python egg. It no longer uses a Makefile for building.

                  Release Notes: This release wraps IBM's ICU 3.6 library, fixes the bugs reported since release 0.5, and adds support for Python 2.5 and ICU's CharsetDetector APIs.

                    Release Notes: PyICU no longer uses SWIG. The Python object wrappers are now implemented by hand and result in a lot less code, better Python integration, and faster C++ access.
