Release Notes: This release comes with a new proxy server that caches data locally to accelerate data access for distributed teams. Internal tests have resulted in more than 18x faster file downloads. Further enhancements include an improved resolve dialogue for merge conflicts, visual diffing of image files, and the new component manager. The latter helps development managers to link shared components within or between branches and manage their update path. Changes to a component get automatically promoted to all linked destinations, removing the need to merge them manually.
Release Notes: An Eclipse plugin was added. A CruiseControl.NET plugin was added. Shelving was improved so that you can checkpoint unfinished work on the server or pass it to colleagues for completion without integration into the codeline. Management of shared components was simplified. Visual diffing and merging of MS Word files was implemented.
Release Notes: A stream comparer has been added to allow the user to easily compare differences between two streams. Furthermore, two-way components allow editing files belonging to a component within any workspace that references to this component. It is therefore no longer necessary to create a new workspace for each component. Shelving (submitting code to the server without checking it in) has been improved, together with the handling of issue controls.
Release Notes: This release features a tabbed GUI that allows you to open multiple lists or change sets in separate tabs. Initial .Net/Mono workspace support was added with the ability to add and edit files, etc.
Release Notes: Many command line enhancements. Quick Merge. The Linux version is much more stable.
Release Notes: Multi-path workspaces (i.e. the ability to map stream folders to different local folders) were added. Static component streams (embedding streams within streams) were added. The ability to see which files are being edited by other developers when working online was added. A file history dialog was added, showing parent stream revisions.
Release Notes: This release adds Linux and MacOS clients, a CVS converter, many commandline enhancements, a release notes report, and multi-user workspace support.
Release Notes: Perforce Converter XML import/export was implemented. Many small enhancements and bugfixes were made.
Release Notes: Files may be attached to issues. A new log format which supports log recovery was devised. Lock files were submitted for review. SCC1.2 API support was added. After a crash, database recovery may be performed to fix any errors that may still be present. Many bugfixes were made.
Release Notes: UTF-16 and UTF-8 files are now supported, and all text files are stored internally as UTF-8. A SourceSafe Import wizard was added. This allows you to migrate the version history from a SourceSafe database. The plugin will also attempt to recognize use of SourceSafe's branching (Share/Branch) and will create PureCM streams appropriately. Major updates to the Reporting subsystem have been implemented. These include several new reports, the ability to modify reports after creation, and several fixes to existing reports.
