Projects / PureAgent

PureAgent monitors response times from an agent to a server by replaying transactions at specified intervals. This includes static and dynamic Web applications as well as other server applications. Response times are collected and alarms can be sent if performance and availability goals are not fulfilled. The agent is managed using a standard Web browser. Using the browser, an administrator specifies transactions to run, intervals, alarm settings, etc.

Release Notes: PureAgent can now monitor both Web server applications and a range of other applications such as FTP servers, databases, mail servers, etc. It supports monitoring not only static Web pages but also real users performing dynamic operations. Results from one or several activities are presented in a zoomable graph. PureAgent checks the accepted response times for each activity and optionally raises alarms by email.
