Release Notes: A major SNAPSHOT expiration problem was fixed. A major "too many open files" problem was fixed. GZIPped stream recognition in httpRemotePeer was fixed. A GroupMapping feature was added to Proximity core. Stats are working and were extended. The event mechanism is finished. Some Velocity problems with null elems in context were fixed. "Fine grain" version searches were enabled. CommonsNetFTP remote peer was fixed. Quartz and job support (reindexJob) were added. ReindexAtStartup now defaults to "false". The dev.java.net repository was added to defaults. Generally, dependencies were updated to the latest releases.

Release Notes: Three major improvements were made. The aggregated metadata checksum is correctly calculated. "emergeGroups" enables proper selective repository aggregation. WS interface publishing was implemented using XFire. The J2EE webapp modules are "exploded", meaning that they now come in different flavors: "default", "demosite", "minimal", and for Proximity chaining ("PxMaster" and "PxSlave").

Release Notes: A major refactoring of Px Core was undertaken, removing and greatly simplifying it. Lucene was upgraded from 1.4.3 to 2.0. This release has number of enhancements and a new extension point (ItemPropertiesConstructor appeared) that empowers existing plain LuceneIndexer and "metadata" capabilities was added. New features include "Artifact browsing" (browsing in Maven2 "namespace"), links to project homes, and links to file origins (in case of proxied files).
