All releases of projectM

Release Notes: The code base was refactored to support different presets and rendering pipelines, and to add support for per pixel shaders and all milkdrop 2.0 presets. An optional two rating system was added to projectM-qt GUI. Other various GUI tweaks and enhancements were done.

Release Notes: Multi-threaded smooth preset switching was implemented. Pulse audio support was added. A Qt4 GUI was added with preset playlist management tools and a preset editor. Some general performance enhancements were done. Major improvements were made to the cmake configuration files.

Release Notes: This is the first release of the 1.0 branch for MacOS X/iTunes users.

Release Notes: This release is much more compatible with Milkdrop, and looks better than ever. New features include smooth preset transitions, improved Milkdrop compatibility, sharper rendering (OpenGL framebuffer objects), textured shapes via preset files (better than Milkdrop's sprites), and JACK support.

Release Notes: A correction was made in internal rendering of coordinate spaces. XMMS plugins now close properly via window decorations. The mouse cursor is now hidden on full screen. Menu resizing is smarter. Numerous compilation bugs were fixed.

Release Notes: Many modifications were made to the code base. FTGL is now used for font rendering. libprojectM is a now a C++ (well, sort of) shared library that supports libvisual and other interfaces. Experimental xmms support with pbuffers was implemented. Some parser hacks that make more presets work were included.

Release Notes: Waveforms 2, 3, and 5 were fixed in response to the release of the Milkdrop source code. The Darken, Brighten, and Solarize filters were added. Stability was improved.

Release Notes: This release has been turned into a library to ease integration into anything that plays music. It needs nothing other than OpenGL. It has support for libvisual. projectM for XMMS no longer requires SDL 1.3 from CVS; the current stable SDL is all you need. This release contains source and (some) binaries for the following: the projectM library (projectM), projectM for XMMS (xmms-projectM), projectM for libvisual (lv-projectM), projectM for iTunes (iprojectM), and a small test app (projectMvis). Mac OS X has pbuffer support, which means crisper visuals. projectMvis has an SDL test app.

Release Notes: Two optimizations were added. One of them better implements Milkdrop's actual behavior involving per-pixel equation evaluation. Some new presets that run fast enough were added and bugfixes were made.

Release Notes: The editor and menu systems are not yet complete. A mysterious bug still exists.
