Release Notes: This version fixes a remote exploit in the handling of ASCII translations such that an attacker, by downloading a carefully crafted file, can exploit and gain a root shell.

Release Notes: This release includes numerous bugfixes, including portability fixes for Cygwin, FreeBSD, and Solaris. The major new feature added in this release is support for RFC 2428, which defines support for FTP over IPv6.

Release Notes: The new configuration directives in this release include AnonRejectPasswords, which configures a regular expression filter for commonly used anonymous login "passwords", RootRevoke, which drops root privileges completely after authentication, SocketOptions, for configuring TCP settings, and ListOptions, which now supports optional parameters that can be used to set limits on recursive directory listings. A new mod_ifsession modules allows "if" rules to be used in the config. New variables for handling free disk space and the username within the config file were also added.

Release Notes: The Allow/Deny filters are now extended to the directory and ftpaccess contexts, This release adds the new directive SQLLogFile, fixes for TRU64 and OS/2, and numerous bugfixes. Linuxprivs are now renamed to mod_cap and built in by default.

Release Notes: The AllowFilter and DenyFilter are now extended to Directory and .ftpaccess. A new SQLLogFile directive was added. ftptop and ftpwho now display transfer rates in their "transfer speed" display modes. New HomedirOnDemand functionality was added, which has also been added as a new configuration directive: CreateHome. A lot of bugfixes were also made.

Release Notes: New contrib modules were added: mod_auth_file, mod_tls, mod_rewrite. New directives include AuthOrder, ListOptions, and TransferRate. New display variables include %i, %o, and %t. New log variables include %d, %D, and %U. RFC2389 support was added.
