Pretty Make

Pretty Make beautifies make output. It colorizes it, groups options together, and hides uninteresting stuff.

        Re: Shells
I got it to work using python2.1 from a default full install of redhat 7.2 on a bash prompt

        [met89@planet-rob linux-2.5.6]$ python2.1 -V

        Python 2.1.1 (#1, Aug 13 2001, 19:37:40)
        [GCC 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-96)]

this was my command line entry

        [met89@planet-rob linux-2.5.6]$ python2.1 /bin/pretty-make.py bzImage modules

the kernel and the modules came out fine. i "chmod +x" the pretty-make.py file before putting it my /bin folder.

        Shells
Looks nice and helpful, but unfortunately it seems to be dependant on the user's shell. Doesn't work with tcsh.
