PPTP Client allows you to connect to a PPTP server from a Linux box. It sets up a PPTP call, after which the PPP daemon establishes a PPP link over that PPTP call. The client can access PPTP-based VPNs. Besides remote access to internal corporate networks, some CATV and ADSL ISPs are using PPTP to provide Internet access to their customers.

Release Notes: Some bugs were fixed.
Release Notes: This version has mostly bug fixes, some in pptp-command and some in GRE decapsulation. The GRE fixes should improve performance and connection reliability. It also adds a --phone switch to work with DSL providers who require a "phone number" inside the GRE call. ppp-mppe is now based on ppp-2.4.0 (which means it will work with 2.4.x kernels). It also now boasts a new, more robust system for building the kernel modules that should cut down on people finding unresolved symbols. It also has some mppe decryption bug fixes.
Release Notes: New RPMs, integration of Debian's bugfixes, and a new Perl script to setup/start/stop pptp calls
