    Release Notes: This release fixes several bugs of the 3.6 release in the program and supplementary files. The configure script of the Unix source package now recognizes more platforms and better handles unusual configurations.

      Release Notes: This version provided bugfixes and internal restructuring leading to better portability, among other things. There were also several feature enhancements in the core code and the documentation and usability were improved.

            Release Notes: Major bugfixes were made, including "noise reduction". This release might be the last one before the final 3.5 release, and should be thoroughly tested for bugs.

              Release Notes: POVray now includes JPEG and TIFF format reading, TrueType Unicode support, parallel lights, and a projected through feature. Various optimizations have been made. Also included are Clock and Image size keywords, a directive #ifdef (array), a turbulence vector, transform changes, sphere camera and sweeps, circular area lights, and conservation of energy for reflections. Metallic and variable reflections, faster and better media, isosurface objects, and a more efficient mesh type are also introduced this version, along with triangle texture interpolation and interior and layered textures. New patterns include Blob, Eval, Fractal, Function, Image, Object, Cells, Slope, Pigment, and Polarical.
