    Release Notes: eix is allowed as a backend DB. An internal messagequeue module is used instead of external shm. The list of world packages is shown. The user is allowed to search descriptions. An icon to signal the "best" version for a package was added. An Italian translation was added. Bugmail sending was fixed. A French translation was added.

        Release Notes: Lines without a keyword are now allowed in package.keywords. Support for ktsuss as a su-frontend was added. A man page was added. Honor EAPI-masking was added. The plugin system was overhauled and now allows plugins to add widgets. The deprecated -L command line option was removed; use -F instead. Some UI elements were moved to extra plugins. The ":" character is no longer allowed to be an assignment operator in configuration files. A Brazilian Portuguese translation was added.

            Release Notes: Support for sqlite db. Improvements in session handling. Sorting by useflags in the dependency list. uselist and deplist have been made lazy, i.e. loading only if needed. This release remembers the height and width of the preference window, checks prerequisites before starting, reorganizes preferences, changes from libglade to GtkBuilder, and adds color buttns to the preferences, so the colors can be changed. It fixes searching and adds a Spanish translation.
