              Release Notes: popauthd.pid file path in popauthd has been changed from /etc/mail/ to /var/run/.The superfluous "&#60pre&#62" string has been removed from the bottom of popauthd.sh, the startup shell script.

                Release Notes: The code was changed to grep for duplicate entries in access instead of access.info to avoid a "File not found" error if access.info doesn't exist on the first run.

                  Release Notes: Previous versions watched syslog using tail utility, which spawned a separate shell process which needed to be killed when POPauthd was restarted. This has been replaced by an internal Perl routine.

                    Release Notes: This release adds a word boundary to the grep pattern used to search access.info for duplicate IPs, which prevents 192.168.1.22 from matching 192.168.1.222.
