Release Notes: Policy debugging was improved. Various bugs were fixed. Handling of folding groups into policy sources and destinations was improved. Group negation in source and destination policies was fixed. A special case $- for matching no SASL username was added. Matching SASL usernames which look like email addresses was fixed. The DEFER option was fixed for quotas.
Release Notes: Various SQL fixups were done, including indexing for sqlite and a charset fix to address MySQL limitations. A critical fix was made for handling Postfix policy delegation protocol. Support for newer versions of Cache-FastMmap was improved. A policyd support patch for amavisd-new 2.6.1 was merged. An option to defer when quota is exceeded was added.
Release Notes: This release can handle double the concurrent connections and no longer exits when the maximum connections limit is reached. The throttle module has been updated, and allows throttling based on the sender's host/IP address. Two cosmetic fixes have been made. The database creation tables are now in a separate file.
Release Notes: This version features a big speed increase. The database failsafe option now works across all modules. A malloc bug which allocated 1 byte too little was fixed, as was a strncpy() bug which affected older systems like Redhat 6.2 and Debian stable. A PIDFILE is now generated as required by FreeBSD's ports system. Policyd now enters daemonize mode only after reading the entire config file which fixes a bug on Solaris. A white/blacklisting bug was fixed, and some new functions were added to start removing code duplication.
Release Notes: The w_fork() function was added to take backgrounding, which fixes some compiler issues. The documentation was fixed up. MySQL INSERTs no longer escape integers. Fixes were made for autoexpiring autowhitelisting and spamtrapping.
Release Notes: In generic.c, daemon() was replaced with a daemonize() implementation for compatibility with Solaris. policyd now works on Solaris. Auto-whitelisting was implemented, a greylist patch was backported, and debugging is now enabled by default in policyd.conf.
