Podracer is a podcast aggregator that gets the enclosures from your list of podcast subscriptions and stores them in the location you specify. It supports BitTorrent, HTTP, and FTP downloads, and runs best as a cron job to automatically retrieve podcasts throughout the day.

    Release Notes: This release no longer hangs when a download stalls. It now follows redirections properly. Blank lines in the subscription file are ignored. Feeds without line breaks now work properly. It is possible to get the version number from the command line.

      Release Notes: The URL and filename bugs that especially caused problems with TWiT and LUGRadio have been fixed. It is now possible to use any implementation of awk. Temporary files are now removed when Podracer is interrupted by the user.

        Release Notes: This release fixes a bug which caused torrent names with spaces to be handled incorrectly. A torrent is now completely downloaded before it is moved out of incoming.

          Release Notes: The installer now determines where man pages are installed before copying them. It shows the error message that caused installation to fail.

            Release Notes: Torrent files are now saved for future use. Torrents are seeded all at once with the option to limit upload bandwidth. It is now possible to specify a separate download directory for each podcast feed.
