Release Notes: The autotools were replaced with a CMake build system. Windows is now completely supported. Several language bindings were added: Ada, D, Lua, and OCaml. Several drivers were added: wxWidgets, PDF, Cairo, and SVG. Numerous features were added, such as transparency and full unicode support. Many bugs were fixed.


Release Notes: Two new functions were added to the library API: plsmem and plgriddata (this one allows 3D plots of irregularly sampled data). The configuration scheme has been improved and many bugs have been fixed.


Release Notes: This release works on a wide variety of platforms. There are good reports for Windows systems (98, NT, and 2000), Mac OS X, several Unix systems, and of course for Linux. It also has expanded examples, improved documentation, dynamically loadable device drivers (including a new Computer Graphics Metafile driver), and experimental versions of an image plotting function, a PyQT GUI, and a Java front end.


Release Notes: A new portrait mode, a new -drvopt command-line option which allows you to set options for particular drivers, and a new pstex driver.


Release Notes: New features include an Octave front-end and PNG and JPEG drivers. A Perl front end is being started, as well as a GNOME driver.
