Release Notes: This release fixes two bugs. The first caused some streams not to play in mpg123 by adding a spurious trailing slash to the URL. This release no longer adds any trailing slashes to URLs, which means you have to be careful about including a trailing slash (but only if it is necessary) when you enter URLs from the command line. URLs provided by Shoutcast are generally correct. The other bug could cause plaiter to lose track of the current song when skipping back or forward in certain circumstances.
Release Notes: Releases 1.1 and 1.2 potentially had permissions problems on Cygwin, depending on your configuration. This release addresses that problem. If you have been reverting to 1.0 because of permissions problems, this release is for you. It also includes minor feature enhancements. plaiter, the command line front end to command-line music players, has random shuffle. plait adds support for symbolic links in the music directory, which allows you to create a wrapper directory with pointers to multiple other directories, including read-only volumes.
Release Notes: This is the first stable release. A minor bug was fixed in plaiter, the command-line front end to command-line music players. This bug caused a broken man page.
Release Notes: This is a bugfix release for "plaiter", the command line front end for command line music players. In the previous release of "plaiter", the controller sent relative file paths to the player daemon, which meant that they had to run in the same directory. This release sends absolute file paths.
Release Notes: This is a minor bugfix release that adds error recovery when adding filenames to iTunes. Now filenames with certain accent characters that cause Applescript to choke will not kill the whole play list.
