      Release Notes: The ability to generate packages with templated package control scripts has been added. A utility to ease updating package control scripts and files within a package in datastream format has been added. Some additional checks have been added so that filenames which contain spaces are checked for.

                  Release Notes: A new -o option in build-pkg (which allows the building of packages with the user and group details from the source files rather than using the default user and group of root and bin).

                    Release Notes: A new command check-pkg to perform integrity checks on installed packages, changes to the templates proj-template uses (the previous default template has been renamed to "orig"), and a new default template has been written which is based around the use of GNU autoconf.

                      Release Notes: Most updates are documentation related. The -F option to build-pkg has been extended for situations when chroot-install is not called, and /lib is now mounted read-only into chroot() areas on Solaris 8.
