Release Notes: A bug in the Tcl wrapper was fixed to prevent a possible crash when retrieving TrueType font metrics. The driver for BMP images has been extended to support more BMP formats (e.g. RLE encoding). Anti-aliased line drawing has been improved, and the performance of the image transformation algorithm has been optimized.

Release Notes: This release adds support for anti-aliased lines, a faster and more accurate image subsampling algorithm. Rotation and anchor options for text rendering have been made more consistent with the global API. Performance has improved, and minor bugs have been fixed. Binaries are provided for MacOS X, Win32, Windows Mobile, and Linux (arm, arm-eabi, mipsel, powerpc, x86, and now also x86_64).
Release Notes: Image rotation has been accelerated, and has a smaller footprint for embedded systems. The quality of image sub-scaling has been improved, and can be controlled with a new -quality option. A bug in the color aliases parser has been fixed.
Release Notes: Dfont support on Mac OS X was added. A bug with reading multi-frame GIF images with local palettes was fixed. A larger set of compositing operators was implemented.
