Release Notes: The PIKT Reference has been substantially revised. piktc "-x" operations may now piggyback onto other piktc operations. A new piktc and pikt option has been added: "-U", for running in "urgent mode". Another new piktc option has been added: "-p#", for pausing # seconds between operations. Per-host data and auth encryption types were implemented. Several new alarm status settings were introduced. New features were added to support special test environments. Debugging, error handling, and logging were all improved. Other new features were added, and several bugs were also fixed.

Release Notes: piktc exec operations may now piggyback onto other piktc operations. A new command-line option was implemented for pausing for an arbitrary number of seconds between successive piktc operations. Several new script functions were also added.

Release Notes: New features were added to deepen and ease the administration of test environments, including new alarm status settings; several new built-in, predefined macros and defines; alert-wide status and severity level settings; and a reformulated "-T" command-line test switch. The script run sequence was revised. Error handling and logging were improved.

Release Notes: piktc_svc can now bind to a specific system port, facilitating PIKT's use in firewalled environments. The new piktc -w and -W vieW-file options were implemented along with a +/-E option for setting or unsetting environment variables. #unset and #unsetenv directives and new #set, #setenv, #setdef, and defines.cfg variants were implemented. Optional alarm message sorting by syslog level was added. The documentation was changed to HTML format.

Release Notes: This version implements several new preprocessor directives: #set, #setenv, and #echo. These make it possible to pass parameters #include files, among other uses. A new "piktc -B" option for restoring files from backup was added. A new program, piktf ("pikt find"), for finding elements within the PIKT configuration was added. Command-line item macros were added, giving A, O, P, & F item specs the alias- and group- like functionality of H specs. Several bugs were also fixed.
