Release Notes: This release begins the new stable branch for PhysicsFS. There are several compelling features over the 1.0 releases that are too numerous to list here. All developers are encouraged to upgrade, as 2.0 remains backwards-compatible with previous releases.

Release Notes: The license was changed from LGPL to zlib. .NET assemblies and C# bindings were added along with HOG and MVL archive support for Descent I/II, more accurate Mac OS X/Darwin CD-ROM detection code, MiNT support, lots of cleanups, and bugfixes.

Translations were added: German, English, Russian, Spanish, and French. A new buffering API has been added to increase performance. The zipfile management code has been rewritten. Bindings for Ruby are included. Many other tweaks, fixes, cleanups, and optimizations were also made.
Release Notes: This release includes some important Win32 updates, a fix for a buffer overflow in the CD detection code, a convenience API for reading integers in a byte-order friendly way, better build system support including support for older autoconf/automake and support for shared libraries in MacOS X and Cygwin, as well as some other minor fixes and tweaks.
