phpMyBackupPro is a Web-based MySQL backup program. You can schedule backups (without cron jobs), and download, email, or upload backups with FTP. File directories can also be backed up. No compression, zip compression, or gzip compression of the backups is possible. HTTP or HTML authentication is possible. It has an easy user interface and is easy to install. Many languages and online help are available.

    Release Notes: PHP 5 is now supported. Deprecated methods like ereg/eregi/etc. were removed. pclzip was upgraded to version 2.8.2. All communication and file formats were changed to UTF-8. VIEWS support was added (DROP VIEW if exists, dependencies support). DROP TABLES order for dependencies was corrected. The compressed file backup feature was fixed. The "empty db" feature now considers views. Minor bugs were fixed.

        Release Notes: This release adds support for PHP 5.x, improved error messages on memory problems or PHP timeouts, permissions of backup files set to 0700 instead 0777, an improved gzip algorithm, "simple mode" without configuration and sql-queries tabs, support for zipped files in shell mode, support for backing up all tables in shell mode, support for different character sets, an improved generator for the scheduled backup scripts, and backups of directories zipped in one file by email.

          Release Notes: An email problem with empty/missing files was fixed along with a call-by-reference problem. Shell/cron mode was fixed. Directory backups can now be sent by email.

            Release Notes: FTP backup has been fixed. A problem with incorrect FTP data has been fixed. A problem with paths of zipped files has been fixed.
