PHPMailer

PHPMailer is an email transport class which features multiple file attachments, CCs, BCCs, REPLY-TOs, HTML messages, redundant SMTP servers, and word wrap, among others. It can send email via sendmail, PHP mail(), or with SMTP. Methods are based on the popular AspEmail active server component.

I never abandoned it but I took, lets say, a long vacation from it. Anyway, I passed off the project to Andy Prevost to be the project lead. He looks like he'll do a fine job of keeping PHPMailer as the PHP email transport leader.

Abandoned?
It appears that this project has been abandoned. I'm awfully wary of

using software with such potential for exploit that hasn't been

touched in a year. Here's hoping somebody picks this up -- it's a fine

program.
