As for 99% of all OpenSource, its mission impossible to install if youre not an computer expert.

Wonder why these OpenSource people can't make a install solution like : point -> click -> install -> setup for humans -> run -> use.

            Safe Mode?
I have trouble running your app in Safe Mode. In particular, it seems as if some scripts are trying to read /tmp (phpgroupware/phpgwapi/inc/class.sessions_php4.inc.php) when trying to read the session variables. Then I saw it again trying to read / in the scripts phpgroupware/phpgwapi/inc/functions.inc.php and phpgroupware/phpgwapi/inc/footer.inc.php, although I am not sure what this was connected to.

Would I have to use mysql sessions to view current logins if safe mode is turned on? And with the later problem, could this be from incorrect configuration or is this a limitation of the current project?

The pda(palm) sync is being actively developed at the moment, it will form the basis for other sync interfaces for phpgroupware.

As for the accept/refuse via mail, we are working on iCal/vCal support in the next major release.
