Release Notes: PHP 5 support and PEAR or download installation. Hundreds of bugfixes since 1.2.2. If you're running PHP 4.4.0 or higher, you'll need to run this version to fix reference bugs.
Release Notes: Several critical bugs were discovered in the implementation of HighlightParser, post-processing of tutorials. In addition, the algorithm used to find file-level documentation was changed to be more natural. To use the PEAR installer for phpdocumentor, you must apply a patch to PEAR.
Release Notes: This release contains a large number of important bugfixes and feature enhancements, including a new tokenizer-based parser that is twice as fast as the old parser (requires PHP 4.3.0+), highlight parsing and cross-referencing with documentation of source code in HTML, and PDF with customizable templating. External user-level manual parsing and generation allows cross-linking between API docs and DocBook-format tutorials/manuals. Also added were a number of new HTML templates and a new Web interface.
Release Notes: For PHP 4.3.0 users, the new tokenizer-based parser is between 2-11 times faster than the old parser. Tutorial specification allows the creation of package-level, subpackage-level, class-level, and even file-level documentation with the ability to link to external documentation from the API and to the API documentation from the external documentation. Many improvements were made to all output converters.
Release Notes: All remaining bugs from the RC releases have been fixed. There is a new Converter architecture allowing for more output formats, 8 different HTML templates, and alpha quality support for PDF and CHM output. You can write new templates using the Smarty Engine.
