    Release Notes: This release fixes numerous bugs since the 3.0.4 release, corrects style issues, fixes one very minor security bug, and increases performance and scalability again. A few new minor features were added.

      Release Notes: Changes to the random number generator code, fixes for quoting and special characters on boards with HTML enabled, a correction for errors in the removal of old session keys, changed filtering of short search terms, and improved filtering on language selection. More efficient highlighting code was backported along with the zlib emulation code from Olympus.

        Release Notes: This is the first public beta version of phpBB 3 (codename Olympus). It features caching of templates, configuration permissions, file attachments, extended user administration, subforums, and a lot of other improvements and new features.

          Release Notes: This release is a cumulative bugfix update that also includes a number of minor security fixes. A new feature that allows you to limit how often a user may conduct a search if you find that searches are putting a load on your server was added. The default permissions on new forums were changed so that you must explicitly make them available for guests to post in and visual confirmation was enabled by default on all new installs.

            Release Notes: Session-table fixes were made. Changes were made to support MySQL 5.0. Some fixes were made in the adin files. Truncation of username length was changed. Captcha now works without zlib. XSS issues with Internet Explorer were fixed. The number of maximum login attempts is now configurable.

              Release Notes: This is a major update to the 2.0.x codebase and includes fixes for numerous bugs reported by users, as well as updates to those issues identified by the recent security audit of the code and a couple of reported security issues. In addition, a further feature from the "Olympus" codebase was backported to change the way automatic logins are handled.

                Release Notes: This release addresses several bugfixes and some minor security issues as well as the recent, seemingly wide-spread XSS issue (only affecting Internet Explorer).

                  Release Notes: A critical issue with highlighting was fixed. URL descriptions may be wrapped over more than one line again. A bug with eAccelerator in admin_ug_auth.php was fixed. new_forum_id is checked for existence in modcp.php. Uploading of avatars with no dimensions is now prevented. A bug in usercp_register.php which forced avatar file removal without updating avatar information within the database was fixed. A bug in admin re-authentication redirection for servers not having index.php as one of their default files set was fixed.

                    Release Notes: This release addressed some bugs and some security issues, including one serious issue. The admin re-authentication security feature from phpBB Olympus was backported to the 2.0.x branch.

                      Release Notes: This release addresses some bugfixes and fixes some minor non-critical security issues. The db/oracle.php file was removed from package. A problem in install.php with the PHP5 register_long_arrays option turned off was fixed.
