Philoscope reads the sound card or a sound file and restitutes the signal on the screen. You can, as if you had an oscilloscope, read two signals at the same time, modify the time base and the signal amplitude, compute in real time the Fourier transformation of your signal, restitute it on the screen, and determine the exact frequency of your signal.

Badly packaged, no Makefile, crashed after a few clicks. I suggest you use xoscope (freshmeat.net/projects...) instead.
