Petey

Petey is similar to fortune but with different content. It was originally written to be a small script for a web page of questionable content, but since then got turned into its own small application. The databases that petey comes with are completely replaceable/changeable/modifiable to enable the application to spit out customized output.

    Release Notes: Final code cleanup, miscellaneous bugfixes, and more data in the datafiles. Currently stores its configuration file in /etc.

      Release Notes: Lots of makefile changes, changed the default directory for .petey (but old configurations will still work) more documentation, and added the backtick special character "`" to force linebreaks within data files

        Release Notes: New data set added, code mostly rewritten and now cleaner and faster with a makefile for easier building/installing, bugs'a'plenty fixed, much more portability in this release, worked on a port to RISC OS as well, changes in template functions, and a bugfix dealing with the .petey file.
