Release Notes: Neither the client nor the server use the Msg Perl module anymore. Everything that has to do with sockets has been rewritten on both the client and the server. The client is no longer threaded and should therefore run on more default installations of Perl.
Release Notes: New features include the ability to save preferences, the ability to query info on other users, an improved messaging interface, an improved global messaging interface, and better popups and output. Global messaging is like IRC while regular messaging is like AOL's Instant Messenger. Perl Chat incorporates both styles of chatting.
Release Notes: This release adds threading, a GUI via the Perl/Tk module, lots of bugfixes, and better functionality.
