peak-o-mat is a data analysis and curve fitting program. It was designed to fit spectroscopic data but should be suited for any other fitting task. It allows for clearing, transforming, fitting, calibrating, etc. of spectra with few mouse clicks. It can be scripted using the Python language and can be extended by writing modules.
|Operating Systems||MacOS X Windows Unix|
Release Notes: This is mainly a bugfix release, after years of silence. Parts of the API have been improved and extended to provide better scripting support. A Python code editor has been added, which allows editing a run code interacting with the current peak-o-mat session. Compatibility issues with OS X have been addressed, and application bundles of peak-o-mat are available for download since this release.
Release Notes: Usability and speed were improved significantly, several modules were added, and many bugs were fixed. In addition to the source code and Python distutils packages, a standalone binary package for Windows is now available.
Release Notes: Most of the components have been completely rewritten. It is faster, more robust, has more features, and is easier to extend.
Release Notes: This is a pre-release of peak-o-mat 1.0. The GUI has been completely redesigned and the code has been cleaned up. Support for Numeric has been dropped in favour of numpy 1.0. New features can be added easily by writing your own modules. The fit now includes confidential intervals for the parameters, and error weights may be specified.
Release Notes: The new numpy/scipy is now supported along with the old Numeric/scipy. The voigt peak shape no longer depends on an extension module. Several bugs were fixed.
