Release Notes: This release has been updated to work correctly with PHP 5 and adds a workaround for a PHP issue with files bigger than 2GB.
Release Notes: This release added preliminary (and experimental) DVD support and support for symbolic links. The mkisofs volset-size and volset-seqno options are now used to mark each disc in a set. The broken -u (-update) feature was fixed and improved. A small progress bar is now displayed while preparing files.
Release Notes: Multi-source support was added. The creation of ISO images over NFS was improved. An on-line feature for checking for new versions was added. Absolute path handling was fixed.
Release Notes: This release fixes a file tosser bug, causing whole backups to be less compact. pdm.ini is no longer required for any operation. Users can now burn and create ISOs without needing to set up php.ini.
Release Notes: A file splitting feature was added. The file tosser was rewritten to be much faster. Memory usage was reduced. Index file creation was fixed. Some minor issues in an environment with register_globals disabled were fixed. Reporting of a file exceeding the allowed media capacity was fixed.
Release Notes: This version adds burnfree support for cdrecord, a new 'burn-iso' mode, and a reg-exp file pattern matching mechanism for processing pattern selectable files. There were also some bugfixes.
Release Notes: An incorrect KB definition was fixed (it was 10 times too big). The program no longer checks the destination for write permissions if it is not going to write anything. The "mode" switch is now optional. Index files and THIS_IS_CD_x_OF_y markers are now included in each set. An optional "out-core" argument for overriding the CD set name prefix was also added.
Release Notes: This version removes debug code that made it rather useless unless one manually fixed the code.
Release Notes: PDM now knows more about CD structure handling and creates better ISO/CDs. Comand line interface handling was added. A check to determine if src and dest dirs are in fact directories was added. Optional file checking was added. PDM now ensures that you have mkisofs and cdrecord installed and available. A check for older ISO images in the dest folder was added to avoid overwrites. pdm.ini is now optional.
Release Notes: Support for ignore marker was added. Ignore marker is a file that tells PDM to skip the directory it resides in from being processed. When no dest dir is specified, your current working directory will be used. Prior to this version, PDM had serious problems creating some files and links if dest dir was specified. Y/N 'requesters' can now accept 'Y', 'N', or an empty answer (equal to default answer) only. The ability to repeat whole burning again and again was added. PDM does not do a startup check against old set directories to avoid potential problems with file/dir name collisions.
