Release Notes: The information page has been cleaned up. Now it mentions the number of packages found (total, by section, and by usage) and the hard disk space used. There are internationalization updates.
Release Notes: A typo in the French translation was fixed, and an Italian translation was added.
Release Notes: This release uses the xhtml 1.0 frameset and a new method to handle orphans removal, making the output generation faster.
Release Notes: This version defaults to regenerating everything, as it appears to be faster. It adds inter-package link support, Russian and Dutch translations, a graphical representation of installation size, information about use (using popularity-contest), and a --dpkg-dir runtime option.
Release Notes: This release re-adds the RPM database support that was untested/broken since 2.0.0, and adds a Romanian translation.
Release Notes: Output style can be completely configured via CSS files; a sample htaccess is provided. The configuration files are now in a distinct directory in /etc.
Release Notes: Links and emails are now clickable in the output. The translations and man pages were updated. Debconf is used by the Debian package to create/update configuration files. Several minor bugs and a major bug have been fixed.
Release Notes: Now, by default, pdbv runs with the user nobody. Running as root is unnecessary and so it should be avoided, to limit potential security issues. Procps is no longer a dependancy, because procps does not exist (for instance) in hurt. Some Debian packaging related issues have also been fixed.
Release Notes: Several i18n updates were made (including the man pages). Several minor bugfixes were made. The ability to force usage of a LC_ALL via configuration files (pdbvrc2) was added. By default, the program is now run on an hourly basis instead of a daily basis. The "use strict" Perl directive is now used in the code. No RPM package is available, and RPM support is almost completely untested. Do not try to convert the Debian packages for this software using alien, since it will not work.
Release Notes: This is the first release of the Perl version of pdbv. This version support does not already support "advanced listing" and is pretty untested with RPM database, unlike the latest bash version. But it takes only about 15-30 seconds to generate a whole xhtml output of a database.
