Release Notes: This release updates a few key programs. GParted has been updated to 0.11.0. The nilfs patch has been pulled from GIT and applied to this release. This means you can create and move nilfs with GParted. The kernel is updated to Linux 3.1.6 and Firefox to 9.0.1.
Release Notes: There are some major changes that might cause some issues with the Multi-Boot-CD crowd. For a long time, the pmagic-<version>.sqfs and Initramfs would not be found on completely supported computers. Updated programs: lilosetup 0.2.9.1, testdisk 6.13, and Linux 3.1.2.
Release Notes: This is a major enhancement release with many updates. The most notable updates include Linux 3.0.4 and GParted 0.9.1. The legacy PCManFM for PCMan-Mod has been dropped. Many little PCManfm bugs that have existed for years are now quashed. Xfburn replaces SimpleBurn for burning CDROM/DVD media. Chntwd was added to the boot menu. Adding Luxi fonts improved international language support. Although it's not the newest released, Firefox is updated to firefox-6.0.2 and compiled for i486 (official branding included) with permission from the Mozilla Foundation.

Release Notes: Lots of updates, bug fixes, and new features were made. Parted Magic's kernel was updated to Linux 3.0, and SMP support was removed from the i486 kernel. Some people were having issues with the Nouveau Xorg driver, so an option was added to the failsafe menu to revert back to the nv driver. If you add “clonezilla” to the kernel command line at boot time, you are brought directly into Clonezilla. There are some major improvements in handling of Radeon and Mobile4 video cards. Some major updates were made to popular core programs as well. Firefox was updated to 5.0, Clonezilla to 1.2.9-19, and GParted to 0.9.0.
Release Notes: Parted Magic now comes in i486, i686, and x86_64. Clonezilla has been updated to 1.2.8-46.
Release Notes: This version fixes some booting issues and Save Session for CD/DVD. A few bugs in the new direct ISO booting feature were fixed. Super Grub Disk(1/2) has been updated to .9799 and 1.98s1. Some other minor issues were fixed.
Release Notes: After several months of work, a new version is ready for release. May bugs have been fixed and many core programs have been updated. You will notice the Linux 2.6.36 kernel and the newest version of the Gnome Partition Editor (GParted). There are many new features. Parted Magic now includes the SciTE text editor. For the first time, the ISO image can be fully loaded into RAM and booted. This means, for example, that the default syslinux menu can be used for a PXE boot.
Release Notes: Parted Magic 5.7 includes the new 0.7.0 version of GParted and some major changes to networking. Wicd is now used as the default networking manager and Gnome PPP is usedfor dial-up connections. The old Start Network program is still in the panel menu if you want to use it. The vncviewer was switched to Real VNC Viewer. A DBAN clone called nwipe was added for more advanced disk wiping.
