Partclone provide utilities for backing up used blocks and is designed for higher compatibility with the file system by using libraries like e2fslibs. Currently supported filesystems are EXT2, EXT3, EXT4, Reiserfs, Reiser4, XFS, NTFS, FAT, HFS+, UFS, JFS, VMFS, and Btrfs.

    Release Notes: This release improves performance, especially on single core machines. It also removes duplicate code and fixes many warnings from -Wall.

      Release Notes: This version is marked as stable. It adds more test scripts, add failmbr, and fixes JFS and UFS cloning. There are some minor updates like fixing a small screen issue and more bugs. It suppresses warnings and removes unused variables reported by GCC. It has updated man pages.

        Release Notes: This version fixed vmfs3 cloning and the log file, upgraded btrfs file system support, and added the ability to direct ncurses to stderr, more man pages, and an automatic test suite.

          Release Notes: This version fixed the main progress time display and updated the documentation. Display problems when the elapsed or remind time is over 24 hours were fixed.

            Release Notes: This version added exFAT file system support for both backups and restores. Used blocks and total blocks are now shown when cloning and restoring.
