Release Notes: Better support was added for multiple cores and composite datasets. Support has been added for a range of new formats, including ANSYS, CGNS, Chombo, Dyna3D, Enzo, Mili, Miranda, Nastran, Pixie, Samrai, Silo, and Tecplot Binary. 3D View now supports smart context menus. Within the spreadsheet view, sorting using a parallel sorting algorithm is now supported.

Support for hardware accelerated offscreen rendering using OpenGL framebuffers. Improved multi-block support. Improved AMR support. Animation saving with ffmpeg. Filters have been added for FLUENT, OpenFOAM, MFIX, LSDyna, and AcuSolve. A gradient filter for unstructured data. Many other enhancements and bugfixes.
