Pagecast submits lists of URLs to various search engines such as AltaVista, Infoseek, Excite, Google, etc. to be indexed. It can run from the command-line or as a mail-robot (email a list of URLs to pagecast@yourmachine). It has a few advanced features such as the ability to rate a URL's keyword-to-title relevance and fix broken meta tags.
Release Notes: This version is nearly a complete rewrite of the 1.x series. The main changes include multiple language support with English, French, and German translations, a modular server system with group control, many new and updated servers definition files (and templates for custom servers), HTTP proxy support, improved network performance, and full SMTP support for sending mail.
