    Release Notes: Noteworthy improvements include the unification of the wired and 802.1X support, Juniper/SMC switches support, and HP/Meru wireless controllers support. Proxy interception, passthrough support, and a new 'pending' node status feature allowing a wide range of captive portal workflows with approval processes. Many other fixes, general enhancements, and performance improvements.

      Release Notes: ExtremeNetworks XOS-based switches and Nortel ESR-2500 switches are now supported in port security with VoIP. Access control capabilities were added to the PacketFence administrative interface. PacketFence's captive portal is now over 20 times faster than before, and many other speed improvements were added. The overall documentation has been perfected, and new DHCP fingerprints were added.

        Release Notes: This release has 64 bit support, new hardware support from Cisco, Foundry, HP, and SMC, and a new node categorization feature. It has improved error handling, improved documentation, performance improvements, improved error reporting, and many other things.

          Release Notes: This is a security fix release that also includes some bugfixes. A Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability was fixed (#884), and issues with Aruba Controllers (#871 and #873) were resolved. Also fixed in this release are issues with multiple registration in the same browser session (#761) and issues in some wireless scenarios (#880), among other things.

            Release Notes: This is a maintenance release that focuses on stability and includes many bugfixes and several small enhancements. Noteworthy changes are new iPod UserAgent blocking string examples, Snort 2.8.5 compatibility, expire mode deadline now working in VLAN isolation, and updates to the installation guide. Important fixes in areas like: SSH as a CLI transport, 802.1x behavior, Out of Memory! problems when a trappable network is very large, Web Admin interface, and removal of unnecessary warnings, among other things.

              Release Notes: New hardware support: Amer SS2R24i, 3Com's 4200G and SS 4500, Enterasys' D2, Matrix N3 and SecureStack C3, and Extreme Networks' Summit series. Nessus integration with captive portal for scanning on registration. PacketFence is now distributed as a yum repository. A performance improvement in 802.1X mode (wired and wireless) or in MAC authentication on wireless networks. A massive documentation update. Blocking misbehaving user-agents on captive portal (avoiding unnecessary load). Many bugfixes, including a password disclosure fix.

                Release Notes: This release includes new features. It's now possible to generate violations on MAC vendors (to ban a device category), generate violations on Web browser's User-Agent information (to ban a browser), and specify a VLAN for violations (nodes with this violation will be put in the specified VLAN). There is support for Aruba Networks wireless controllers, the Foundry (Brocade) FastIron 4802, 3COM 4200G, and D-Link DES-3526.

                  Release Notes: This is a maintenance release. It focuses on stability and includes many bugfixes and several small enhancements. In particular, an Italian translation has been added and the person table was updated to include several more fields. You can now also use Nessus client files in order to launch Nessus scans.

                    Release Notes: This is a maintenance release. It focuses on stability and includes many bugfixes and several small enhancements. In particular, it enhances the integration between VLAN isolation and node registration expiration, contains improved dependency checks both in the installer.pl script and in the RPM spec file, and better handles being installed on non-English locales. Many automatic tests have been added (using Test::More).

                      Release Notes: Switches and Violations can now be configured from the CLI and from the Web interface. This release also adds push and pull commands for the configuration files. The remediation pages are now internationalized. There are several other small enhancements and bugfixes.
