Release Notes: This release adds scripting support. PAC Scripts are written in Perl, and the built-in editor has syntax highlighting (if "libgtk2-sourceview2-perl" is installed) and checking. The PCC Multiline <PIPE:...> and <TEE:...> algorithm has been modified to add <PIPE:cmd:prompt> to allow user choice of the output pattern to match the end of cmd execution detection. Many bugfixes have been made.

Release Notes: This release adds <PIPE:local command> and <TEE:path_to_file> variables to PCC. It adds a "<TEE:path_to_file>" PAC variable under PCC to "tee" commands' output to files. Now, moving the mouse to the left side of terminals will make the tree appear and reverse. The ability to choose the name of auto-saved session logs. Support for "xfreerdp". A special cluster named " *ALL PAC TERMINALS*". Many more improvements. Some bugfixes.

Release Notes: This release added an option to password-protect PAC at startup and when restoring from tray (optionally). A check was added to ensure that the user does not accidentally start many connections at once by drag and dropping groups. A bug that prevented <Ctrl><Shift><v> from correctly pasting text was fixed (it appended "^M" at the end). A bug with passwords containing non-alphanumeric characters and RDP connections was fixed. The <Ctrl><left/right> keyboard shortcut for changing between tabs was removed as it conflicted with SSH functionality. The four Gnome2::Vte libraries were removed.

Release Notes: This release adds an option under "Preferences" to check for new PAC versions on demand (clicking a button). It adds <Ctrl><left/right> to switch between TABs. It fixes a bug that prevented PAC from entering '#' (hash) starting passwords in RDP (rdesktop) connections. It fixes a minor bug that prevented saving the forwarded port for SSH connections under some circumstances.

Release Notes: This release adds statistics to show the number of times a connection has been made, the last time it was connected, etc., adds a "Local Shell" option for the "New connection" right-click submenus, makes a little modification to the string appearing at the start/stop of any execution (for a shorter/cleaner string), fixes a bug which, under some weird circumstances, could make PAC go to 100% CPU usage, fixes a bug which prevented pasting with mouse-middle-click if the selection was outside PAC's terminals, and makes minor icon changes and ultra-minor code changes.

  •  07 Nov 2011 21:39

Release Notes: This release adds an option to send keystrokes slowly (every X-configured milliseconds), fixes a bug which prevented a "Local Shell" from being started, and fixes a bug which prevented a new connection from being launched from the Tray Icon.

Release Notes: Big changes were made to the code in order to use Gtk2::UIManager and Gtk2::ActionGroup and for future integration of (popup) menus. A Ctrl-D shortcut was providing for cloning connections. The "Rename connection" GUI now allows you to change both NAME and TAB/Window TITLE at the same time. A bug that made some connections fail if the TITLE string was not in plain English was fixed. A bug that allowed insertion of connections/groups before the "AVAILABLE CONNECTIONS" node was fixed. The "AVAILABLE CONNECTIONS" row can no longer be renamed by pressing "F2".

  •  24 Oct 2011 23:00

Release Notes: This release changes "AVAILABLE CONNECTIONS" from being a "parent node" (less indentation, more space, cleaner UI), adds an independent "User" entry for the "Public key" authentication method, adds a button to open the "Wake On Lan" GUI to allow sending "Magic packets" to any MAC address (not only those configured in PAC), forces PCC's syntax highlight text font to "monospace", and fixes a bug which prevented "Autostart at session startup" from being persistent.

Release Notes: This release adds "Syntax highlighting" to the Textview of Power Cluster Controller, with options to load/save the text it contains. It adds a "Retab" button to the "Power Cluster Controller" in order to let the user re-tab those independent connections' windows. It fixes a bug that prevented sending <Ctrl>f to a terminal (instead, the Incremental Search dialog appeared). There are minor configuration saving modifications and minor code cleanup.

  •  19 Oct 2011 21:02

Release Notes: This release adds a right-click option over the Connections tree to import/export connections to/from ".yml" (YAML) files. It adds a better "Incremental Search" for Connections (start typing to get results, or do <Ctrl>f), which accepts Perl regular expressions. Some transparent automatic backups with different config file formats to avoid some buggy Perl libraries not importing data from previous versions. The load configuration function has been modified to make a best effort of loading any valid previous config file.
