OVAL Interpreter

The OVAL Interpreter is a freely available reference implementation that demonstrates the evaluation of OVAL definitions. Based on a set of definitions, the interpreter collects system information, evaluates it, and generates a detailed OVAL results file.

        Release Notes: This minor update adds support for the use of the ipv6_address datatype within tests and evaluation, improves how the linux-def:rpminfo_testís signature_keyid entity is collected, and modifies the collection format of the win-def:file_testís language entity so that it may be specified by the OS. A number of bugs have been fixed, as well.

          Release Notes: This minor update supports the windows_view behavior for file-based tests in the 32-bit build of the OVAL Interpreter, several new entities, and an updated HTML view of the results. A number of bugs have been fixed as well.

            Release Notes: This minor update supports the windows_view behavior in the registry-based tests, which addresses registry redirection on 64-bit Windows. A number of bugs have been corrected, as well.
