Release Notes: This is a major release which provides compatibility with ITKv4 (internal or external). The authors took advantage of this major change in OTB to do some code cleanup. The main objective was to reduce the number of dependencies of the library and focus on functions which make OTB a useful library for remote sensing image processing.
